Hi Dave:
Isn’t finding your “design process” a great topic. You are throwing out some nice morsels of information that people can “build” off of.
I find the design process such an interesting paradox in that those individuals who are percieved as being creative and free in their thought, start by being so disciplined in designing their process.
By the way, used your example of the camera phone at the airport. Found the shape to a mechanism I need in a piece presently in the design process and will use the shape of the base on the metal poles used to que up passengers at check-in. Took a photo like you suggested.
